Renaming widgets in spaces

You can rename widgets in a space so that their titles are more meaningful for you.

Before you begin

You must be able to edit the page to change the name of a widget.

About this task

You may want to rename a widget to give it a name that reflects its purpose or its contents. If you have multiple instances of the same widget, you can rename the instances to distinguish between them.

When you rename a widget, the name change applies only to your current language (that is, to whatever locale your web browser is set to). Anyone who views the page in a different language does not see your name change, If you want change the name in another language, you must change your browser locale.

Procedure

  1. Click Edit Page.
  2. Select the widget menu icon widget menu icon and then click Rename. A window opens.
  3. In the Widget name field, type a name for the widget. Click Save.
  4. Click Finish Editing when you have finished making all changes to the page.
